OYSTERS TAKE OVER SHOREDITCH AS LONDON'S MOST UNIQUE FOOD FESTIVAL RETURNS!
The Shoreditch Oyster Festival is returning on the 15th of November 2026 for a one-day celebration dedicated to oysters. This year, the festival takes over the legendary venue Village Underground & its NEW rooftop, bringing together some of East London’s most exciting food names, live entertainment, speciality drinks and - of course - thousands of oysters. Sponsored by Minuty.
FESTIVAL HIGHLIGHTS INCLUDE:

3 Oyster bars - oyster growers from all over the UK will live shuck their oysters & bring different varieties of the UK’s finest oysters all under one roof.
Toppings bar - try an exciting line up of free oyster toppings. 🦪
Oyster Shucking Competition – chefs and enthusiasts will battle it out live to be crowned Shoreditch’s Fastest Shucker.
Best Dressed Oyster – local favourite restaurants will present inventive oyster creations, judged on flavour and presentation by a panel of renowned foodie personalities - the esteemed judges include Rollin Lee (@rollinjoint1)
Speciality Bar – Village Underground will be serving pints of Guinness, a range of wines, and speciality cocktails.
Hot Pizza - Still hungry? Grab a freshly made pizza from Bad Boy Pizza Society. 🍕
Live Music & DJ Sets – live music adds a soundtrack to the festivities into the early evening, then a DJ until 8pm.
The UK’s first Oyster Luge - debuted earlier this year, our custom sculptured ice luge is a BIG hit for oyster fans.
Panel talks & VIP Masterclasses - A range of educational and entertaining moments from Oyster experts, Oyster suppliers, and wine producers will happen throughout the day. Add on your masterclass tickets at the checkout!
The festival highlights Shoreditch as a thriving district of food culture. Visitors can expect a lively and welcoming atmosphere, distinct from the formality usually associated with oyster dining.
